Born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, Dustin developed his passion for ice hockey and skating through the local hockey community, progressing through Learn to Skate, house hockey, and eventually AA and AAA competition in the Valley. At 19 years old, he began coaching and assisting his brothers’ AAA team. He helped prepare and lead the team through high-level competition, including competing at the national tournament. This experience marked the beginning of his commitment to developing hockey players both on and off the ice.

Throughout his coaching career, Dustin has worked with players at every stage of development, from introducing young athletes to skating and hockey through Learn to Skate and Hockey Tots programs to helping advanced players pursue opportunities at the junior and collegiate levels. He has also had Multiple players make it to the Rocky Mountain Disctrict as well as USA National Development Camps.

His coaching experience includes teaching fundamental to advanced skating and hockey skills, developing players’ technical abilities, and creating a positive environment that emphasizes hard work, accountability, confidence, and continuous improvement. He is passionate about helping players build a strong foundation while providing the instruction and mentorship necessary to reach their highest level of hockey.
He also has availability for Video Analysis sessions for game play breakdown and Hockey IQ development.
