She’s already imagining it.

The lights come up. The music starts. The crowd is watching. And for just a few magical minutes, Sunny gets to skate across the ice as part of something bigger than herself. Maybe she’s picturing the costume she’ll wear. Maybe she’s practicing her favorite part of the music in her head. Or maybe she’s simply thinking about how exciting it will be to step onto the ice and be part of a Christmas show. That’s the magic of Christmas; especially when you’re a kid. It’s the anticipation. The excitement. The feeling that something wonderful is just around the corner. And this year, we’re turning that feeling up to eleven.

Welcome to a Rock ’n’ Roll Christmas!!

Christmas has always had a soundtrack. There are the songs we’ve heard a hundred times, the ones that instantly take us back to Christmases past. There are the songs that make us want to sing along, the ones that make us smile, and, of course, the ones that make us want to get up and dance. This year, we’re putting a little Rock ’n’ Roll into Christmas. Our Rock N’ Roll Christmas Show will bring together festive music, incredible skating, sparkling costumes, and the energy of a Christmas celebration with a rock ’n’ roll twist. And for the skaters taking part, the magic begins long before the curtain rises.

Over the weeks leading up to the show, skaters will come together to learn their group numbers, rehearse on the ice, make new friends, and discover the excitement of preparing for a real skating production. There will be music to learn, choreography to remember, costumes to get excited about, and plenty of moments that become memories along the way. Because when you’re a skater, being part of a Christmas show is about more than performing. It’s about looking around at your friends and realizing you’re all part of something together. It’s about the excitement of seeing the rink transformed. It’s about hearing the music begin.

And it’s about that moment when you take your first glide onto the ice and realize: This is it.

For families, these moments can be just as special. There’s something wonderful about watching a child discover the confidence to perform, seeing their face light up when they put on their costume, and watching them skate toward the spotlight. Years from now, they may not remember every step of the choreography. But they might remember how excited they were. They might remember the music. They might remember their friends. And they’ll remember being part of a Christmas show. That’s what makes the season so special. The little moments become the memories we carry with us.

On December 19th at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, we’ll bring all of that excitement to the ice for our Rock N’ Roll Christmas Show.

So turn up the Christmas music, grab your family, and get ready for a festive celebration filled with skating, music, and plenty of rock ’n’ roll spirit. Because Christmas is about magic. It’s about anticipation. It’s about making memories together.
